Gorsedd
Gorsedd is a celebration of the procession of the Equinox’s as
observed from Primrose Hill and Tower Hill, or Bryn Gwyn, in London. The
cover features a photograph of Stonehenge taken at the summer solstice
and provides a central context in the year for the two musical pieces.
The winter Solstice is neither represented musically or pictorially but
respected as a time of inward thought and contemplation, the opportunity
to reflect and release and let go into no thing.
Composed, performed and sculpted by Matthew Shaw using acoustic,
bowed & plucked guitar, voice, Moog Prodigy & Korg Kaossilator.
Recorded in Christchurch, Dorset in 2014.
