The Nine Stones of Winterbourne Abbas

Today i finally got around to visiting the Nine Stones of Winterbourne Abbas for the first time since the tree was cut away. The place does feel really different now, much more exposed and the main road seems even closer now that there is no protection from the tree's branches. I think it will seem even stranger in the summer when the tree would usually be full of leaves and act as a curtain between the road and the safety of the circle. A shame....but still one of my favourite places!
